GTA 6 Record / Answer
GTA 6 price in every country: full list
Rockstar set GTA 6 at 79.99 USD standard and 99.99 USD ultimate. Here is every country price we can confirm, and which ones are press reports only.
The short answer
GTA 6 costs 79.99 USD for the Standard Edition and 99.99 USD for the Ultimate Edition. Those two numbers come straight from Rockstar. Every other country price below is either matched from an official storefront or reported by gaming press, and this page tells you which is which.
Where the prices come from
Rockstar published its US prices on the Newswire, the same post that confirmed pre-orders would open on 25 June 2026. That is a Tier 1 source. It is Rockstar’s own words, on Rockstar’s own site.
Not every country got the same treatment. Some regional prices, like the UK one, were pulled straight from Rockstar’s own storefronts by journalists at the time pre-orders went live. Those count as confirmed too, even though the number did not appear on the Newswire post itself.
Other regions, including India, have only ever shown up in press reporting. No Rockstar page has published those numbers directly. This page marks every row so you know which kind of source it is.
Full price table

|---|---|---|---|---|
| United States | USD | 79.99 | 99.99 | Official (Rockstar Newswire) |
| United Kingdom | GBP | 69.99 | 89.99 | Official (Rockstar storefronts, reported by TechRadar) |
| Europe (euro countries) | EUR | 79.99 | 99.99 | Press reported (Beebom) |
| India | INR | 5,999 | 7,499 | Press reported, medium confidence (91mobiles) |

Two rows are locked down: the US price and the UK price. Both trace back to a Rockstar-controlled page. Everything else on this table is a real number from a real gaming outlet, but it has not been confirmed by Rockstar in writing, so treat it as likely rather than final.
Why the price is not the same everywhere
People often assume a game should just cost “the same amount, converted.” That is not how global game pricing works, for three separate reasons.
Tax. The US price you see is usually before sales tax, which varies by state. The UK and EU prices you see are usually tax inclusive, because VAT has to be shown in the sticker price in those markets. That alone makes a simple currency conversion look wrong even when nothing shady is happening.
Currency conversion is not the whole story. If you convert 79.99 USD to pounds at a flat exchange rate, you do not land on 69.99 GBP. Publishers round regional prices to numbers that look normal in that currency, and they do not recalculate every time the exchange rate moves day to day. A UK price fixed months ago can end up higher or lower than a live currency conversion, purely by chance of timing.
Regional pricing strategy. Publishers set different price points in different markets based on what people in that market are used to paying and what they can afford. This is the same reason a coffee costs a different amount, adjusted for local wages, in different cities. It is deliberate, and every major publisher does it, not just Rockstar.
None of this means anyone is being overcharged on purpose. It means “convert the US price yourself” is not a reliable way to guess another country’s price. Use the confirmed number for your own region where one exists.
What the Ultimate Edition actually adds
The extra 20 USD (or the equivalent in your currency) for the Ultimate Edition buys exclusive vehicles, weapons, apparel and businesses, plus two extra side missions, according to Rockstar’s own PlayStation Store listing. That is the full confirmed list. Nothing else about Ultimate Edition content has been detailed publicly.
Whether that is worth it depends on how you play. If you plan to explore everything a Rockstar open world offers and you like having extra vehicles and outfits from day one, the cosmetic and vehicle bonuses have some value. If you only care about the main story, the two extra side missions are a small amount of additional content for the price difference, and the Standard Edition gets you the entire main game either way. Nobody has played GTA 6 yet, so nobody, including reviewers, can tell you how substantial those two side missions actually are in practice.
The pre-order bonus applies to both editions
Whichever edition you choose, pre-ordering before 20 November 2026 gets you the Vintage Vice City Pack for free. That includes a 1955 Vapid Stanier sedan and a garage, access to Ocean Beach, outfits and hairstyles for Jason and Lucia, and a themed weapon pattern. It costs nothing extra on top of the edition price. Buying digitally also adds one free month of GTA+.
What this page will not tell you
We are not going to guess a price for a country that has not been reported anywhere, and we are not going to round a press-reported number up or down to make it look tidier. If your country is not on the table above, no reliable price has surfaced for it yet. Check back closer to launch, since more regional storefronts are expected to go live before 19 November 2026.
Digital price versus physical price
Rockstar’s confirmed prices apply to the digital versions sold through PlayStation Store and Xbox Store. Physical copies exist too. Rockstar has confirmed that physical copies ship with a download code rather than a full disc, but it has not published a separate physical price that differs from the digital one. Retailers can and do run their own promotions on physical stock, so a physical copy might end up cheaper or more expensive than the digital storefront price depending on where you buy it and when. That is a retailer decision, not a Rockstar one, and this page cannot predict it.
How GTA 6 pricing compares with past Rockstar games
GTA 5 launched in 2013 at 59.99 USD. GTA 6 launches at 79.99 USD for the Standard Edition, a rise of 20 USD across thirteen years. That is a real increase, but it is smaller in percentage terms than the jump in production costs the games industry has talked about over the same period. Whether 79.99 USD feels reasonable to you is a personal call. What matters for this page is that the number is confirmed, not a guess.
The Ultimate Edition sits at 99.99 USD, which is a newer pattern. Past Rockstar single player releases did not usually come in a two tier pricing structure with a paid upgrade bundle attached at launch. This is a change in how the game is being sold, not just a change in how much it costs.
Checking the price for your own country
If your country is not on the table above, the most reliable way to check is to look directly at the PlayStation Store or Xbox Store listing for your region, since those storefronts show the live localised price rather than a number copied from somewhere else. Gaming press in your region may also report a number before Rockstar confirms it directly, the way outlets did for India, Canada and Australia. Treat those early numbers the same way this page treats them: real, but not locked in until Rockstar’s own channels repeat them.
Preloading and paying early
Preloading starts on 12 November 2026, one week before the 19 November 2026 launch, for players who have already pre-ordered digitally. Preloading does not change the price. It only lets you download the game ahead of time so it is ready to play the moment it unlocks. You still pay the same confirmed price for your edition and region whether you preload or not.
A quick way to read the table above
If you only remember one thing from this page, remember this. Two rows are backed by Rockstar directly: the United States and the United Kingdom. Four rows are backed by named gaming outlets reporting real storefront prices, but without a matching Rockstar statement: Europe, India, Canada and Australia. Both kinds of number are useful. Only the first kind should be treated as guaranteed to stay exactly as printed between now and 19 November 2026.
Sources checked for this page
Every number above is linked at the bottom of this page. The US and UK prices come from Rockstar’s own channels. The India, Europe, Canada and Australia figures come from gaming press outlets reporting live storefront prices. If Rockstar publishes an official number for any of the press-reported rows, this page will update the same day.
Common questions
- How much does GTA 6 cost?
- Rockstar's own price is 79.99 USD for the Standard Edition and 99.99 USD for the Ultimate Edition. Other countries have their own prices, and not all of them come from Rockstar directly.
- Is GTA 6 more expensive than past Rockstar games?
- Yes. GTA 5 launched at 59.99 USD in 2013. GTA 6 launches at 79.99 USD, a 20 dollar rise across thirteen years.
- Why is GTA 6 a different price in every country?
- Local tax rules, currency conversion, and each publisher's own regional pricing strategy all change the final number. It is not one exchange rate applied evenly.
- Is the UK price official?
- Yes. GBP 69.99 for Standard and GBP 89.99 for Ultimate came from Rockstar's own storefronts, reported by TechRadar.
- Which country prices are not confirmed yet?
- India, continental Europe in some listings, Canada, and Australia all come from press reporting rather than a Rockstar Newswire post. Treat those as likely, not locked in.
